A little about me ….

Hi … I’m Leonie and I’m an avid crafter located in South West Victoria, Australia. I am married and have two adult daughters. One lives with us and the other is married and living in USA.

I’ve been crafting as long as I can remember. When I was a young mum I join Crafty Kids to get my products at a bit of a discount and maybe make a couple of dollars along the way. I had fun crafting with friends and sharing how to make cards!

I then joined Stampin’ Up! when they came to Australia in 2006. What a journey that was! I made heaps of friends with other Demonstrators world wide and many new friends with the people I met at parties. I even earned a couple of Incentive Trips which was amazing. Visiting places like Utah and crusing the Western Carribbean and Alaska were amazing. I never thought I’d travel the world but hey I did – it was a lot of work and not many demonstrators achieve that so I feel very blessed I could. I feel very blessed to call many of those demonstrators and customers friends today.

We moved some 1000km from South West of Sydney to South West Victoria in 2021. It was a huge move and huge learning experience. I am blessed that I now have a dedicated, if somewhat messy, craft room with views over Mt Noorat and we are mortage free! I did find that running classes here in rural Victoria was a bit more challenging than in Sydney. So in March 2025 I decided to leave as a Stampin Up! demonstrator and craft for myself. Well the new products and new companies I found have reignited that love of crafting and I’m finding lots of new ways to craft, new techniques and projects to try.

Shortly after arriving in Victoria I became unwell and had a few health issues. It turned out I had Endometrial cancer. I cant fault the Health System here as I was promptly popped into hospital for an operation then onto radiation treatment to be sure they got all the cancer. I am very happy to share they did! Recovery from the radiation has been long and I’m improving every day – I no longer need to sleep most of the day not be more than 100m from a toilet! I have some energy back so it’s mainly spent in the garden or craft room.

I did have a previous blog called Stamp A Latte. While I cancelled that blog back in July I have recently felt the need for somewhere to share my projects and have an online gallery. I hope to be sharing some Tutorials soon so stay tuned for those!
